Athena Athanasiou

Athena Athanasiou insegna al Dipartimento di Antropologia Sociale dell’Università delle Scienze Sociali e Politiche Panteion in Atene. Le sue principali pubblicazioni sono: Life at the Limit: Essays on Gender, Body and Biopolitics (2007); Dispossession: The Performative in the Political (2012), con Judith Butler; Feminist Theory and Cultural Critique (2006); Rewriting Difference: Luce Irigaray and ‘the Greeks’ (2010). Attualmente ha un incarico presso il Center for the Study of Social Difference della Columbia University (New York) nel progetto “Rethinking Vulnerability and Resistance: Feminism and Social Change”, diretto da Judith Butler.
